Timothy Rohwer graduated from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor's degree in Musical Arts. He teaches violin, viola and beginning cello lessons at the Utah Conservatory in Park City, Utah. He is also the founder and director of the Da CAPO Youth Program, encouraging young string players through collaboration. Timothy started composing in 1998 at the age of 13, his first being a 3 movement string quartet. He shortly thereafter got the chance to use music notation software and has nearly two decades of experience in the sheet music creation process. He works as a freelance music engraver, and his services can be booked at the following website: https://www.rohwermusicstudios.com/music-transcription He was most recently involved in vocalist and composer Debra Cook's original and crittically aclaimed, off-Broadway musical "Jilted to Perfection: A MorMom's Love" as Debras personal copyist. Tim is the other of the Rohwer Music Studios Method books for Violin, Viola, and Cello. He writes hymn arrangements for ward choir, and for solo instruments.

for this piece (opens in a new window).After having listened to the Piano Guys' arrangement of "O Come, O Come Emmanuel," I decided at some point to write an arrangement based on this beautiful melody. I had a student asking for something Christmas-like, and I thought this would be a great one for her.
