Writing music is my therapy and joy. I generally write musical theatre type works, but recently I have started writing sacred music and it has been a wonderful experience.

Song background:

This was inspired by the theme of our ward youth conference. I loved the theme so much and I couldn't get it out of my head, so I wrote a song about it. Turns out someone else did too and they performed it for the conference, which was great, but I decided I could put this one to good use to I completed it. It's for a soloist and ensemble, written as SSA, but with some modifications could be SAT. The tone is more in the vein of EFY music.
