From Danielle the Choir Pianist: I'm glad Sister Hutchings wrote this arrangement, because now I don't have to! Her arrangement is A-MA-ZING, everything I wanted in this song AND MORE. SUUUPER dramatic, symphonic, even, using all the best strengths of the piano. However, the drama doesn't require a bunch of finicky octave playing (nice for small hands) or rushed tempo (so glad for the recording!). This is all about *how you play the contrasts*. tl;dr the 9-count hold on "still" (of the first "peace, be still") sold me. OOh and IMO Hutchings is a really underrated arranger on this site so GO CHECK OUT HER OTHER STUFF, SHOO, GO ON!
