Ben Alder was born and raised in St. George, Utah. He took piano lessons from Jaime Stucki at age 8 until moving on to the organ at age 14 with Kathleen Briggs as his teacher. He now takes organ lessons with acclaimed keyboardist (organ, piano, etc.) in Washington County, Geoff Myers. He has played in LDS Tabernacles in St. George, Utah, Paris, Idaho, Brigham City, Utah and Logan, Utah and even was invited to play the 5 manual (keyboards) Salt Lake Tabernacle organ hosted by now deceased tabernacle organist, Robert Cundick. He loves composing, improvising and arranging hymns and songs.

This original song "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling" is actually a hymn arrangement inspired by Mack Wilberg's choir arrangement but it is easier for any choir who wants to do or dont have the ability to read Mack Wilberg's choir arrangement. It's in the tune of "In Humility, Our Savior". I have it available for SATB w/Discant and piano and for Vocal Group or Solo and Piano. (Discant on Vocal Group or Solo and Piano score is optional.) There can be a piano solo on the VG or solo and Piano score if optional. I'll make it as a piano solo score as soon as I can.
I hope you enjoy in somewhat arrangement of mine's Mack's arrangement of "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling".
