Classically trained, he'll discuss music theory to your heart's content. Michael's musical career got started accompanying church choirs and congregations at the age of 12, and founding a barbershop quartet and leading church choirs at 18. In his 20's, he music directed his first musical theatre shows. Now in his 30's, he conducts and arranges for religious events in northeast Ohio, USA. for this piece (opens in a new window).This is a mashup of Love at Home (Hymn #294) and Love Is Spoken Here (Children's Songbook pp. 190-191). My wife Clara was ward choir director at the time and wanted a song for Thanksgiving that evoked the familial warmth and comfort that she associates with the holiday. This was the result.
