Lyrics: An angel of the Lord appeared to shepherds in the night, instructed them, "Fear not, for I have tidings of great joy. For unto you is born this day, a Savior, Christ the Lord," The heavn'ly hose could not refrain from praising God on High.

These shepherd's, humble workers and protectors of their sheep, While watching lambs, both day and night, communed with God so deep, That by their faith to act upon instruction from above, recevevd the heavenly invite first and followed to God's Love.
