Victoria Yates ha amado la música desde temprana edad, comenzando sus lecciones de piano cuando tenía apenas 7 años. A lo largo de los años, estudió con tres diferentes maestras de piano, desarrollando sus habilidades y profundizando su amor por la música sacra. Comenzó a dar clases de piano durante la preparatoria y retomó la enseñanza después de servir como misionera en México. Actualmente, Victoria sirve en su iglesia como directora y pianista de la Primaria, pianista de barrio, y pianista de estaca. Se enfoca en traducir y adaptar arreglos de música sacra para hacerlos accesibles a comunidades de habla hispana, ayudando a expandir el acceso a recursos edificantes para la adoración. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Victoria Yates has loved music from a young age, beginning piano lessons at just 7 years old. Over the years, she studied under three different piano teachers, developing her skills and deepening her love for sacred music. She began teaching piano during high school and resumed teaching after serving as a missionary in Mexico. Victoria currently serves in her church as a Primary chorister and pianist, ward pianist, and stake pianist. She focuses on translating and adapting sacred music arrangements to make them available to Spanish-speaking communities, helping to expand access to uplifting worship resources.

This is a Spanish adaptation of Jason Robinson’s arrangement of “Lead, Kindly Light.” The original version can be found by searching “Lead, Kindly Light” by Jason Robinson on the Free Sacred Sheet Music website.
I created this adaptation to fit the Spanish text with his beautiful setting. It is a moving and reverent piece that brings peace and hope to those who sing and hear it.
