Song background:

My orignal hymn is an easter hymn called "Jesus Has Now Risen Today". It was in the church's submisssion but it wasn't selected has one of the winners. So I'm posting it here. The hymn was also put in the in a county fair and won a 1st premium prize which I'm proud. Hymn was was written in 2013 it was revised for copyright in 2 years ago in 2023 (which I should have published it then).

The hymn talks about the last days of Jesus's life starting in the key of C minor ending with a C major chord at the end on the 4th and last verse. The C minor chord represents on what it really feels like to see the las days of Jesus's life.

I hope you enjoy my Easter original hymn. And I hope you had a wonder Spring and Easter season.

Lyrics: 1. Long ago in Gethsemane,
Jesus wept and prayed in thee.

2. Soldiers crowned Him plaited thorns.
People mocked him with vile scorns.

3. Jesus Christ died to save us all.
He has risen from the fall.

4. Jesus has now risen today.
Christ has now risen this day.
