More about Del Ahlin & Dee Savage:
Del Ahlin was born in Oceanside Ca. Always very interested in creating music. I LOVE composing music! Dee Savage is from Hyrum, Utah. Always interested in hymnal music with an emphasis in spiritual lyrics. Dee and I have spent years together experimenting with different kinds and styles of music. This year we decided to try our hand(s) at a Christmas hymn featuring Dee Savage's original lyrics.
Song background:

Dee Savage (97 years old this month) and I have been working together of the last decade or so, sharing musical ideas. We both became very inspired to write a Christmas Hymn. So I tasked Dee with giving me some lyrics that would inspire me to write music. He did that, and a couple of days later, this piece was born. It is very special to me because we both put our heart and soul into it.

Lyrics: Mary brought forth her first-born son and laid him in a manger.
Jesus Christ His name!
Angels to the shepherds came the glorious Birth proclaim.
Wise men came to worship him the Heav'n- sent King of Kings.
Glory! Glory!
Praise be the Son of God! He is our Loving Savior,
the mortal road He trod.
