More about Sheryl Martineau:
My family and indeed, the entire large posterity of my parents' family, almost all of whom are singers and instrumentalists, have my mother, Ruth Green, to thank for the music that has enriched our lives and our service for the last 60-odd years. I do not forget the sacrifice of my father in providing lessons for his five daughters. Mama sent us to our performances saying, "Do pretty," and then attended every one of them. They laid the foundation of the tradition of training and performance that has come down in each one of our families. I am most grateful.

Lyrics: In Bethlehem a King was born; his mother laid him on the straw.
Our Father sent him down to earth, a Savior born for one and all.
Alleluia, alleluia! And so the angels sing.
Alleluia, alleluia! A carol to their King!
"I bring you tidings of great joy," the shepherds from the angel heard.
"Now go to Bethlehem and see a Savior born, the Holy Word."
Alleluia, alleluia! And so the shepherds sing.
Alleluia, alleluia! A carol to their King!
The wise men watching in the East beheld a glorious, shining light
That led them on their way to find a Savior born that blessed night.
Alleluia, alleluia! And so the wise men sing.
Alleluia, alleluia! A carol to their King!
Alleluia, alleluia! And so all Christians sing.
Alleluia, alleluia! A carol to our King!
