Song background:

Based on the words from Isaiah "they shall not hurt or make afraid in all my holy mountain." Having lived in two socialist countries (Libya and Uruguay), these words are special to me because of the fear my family and I often felt by living amongst people who were bullied and intimidated by their goverments, and experiencing some of it ourselves.

Lyrics: IN ALL MY HOLY MOUNTAIN
Verse 1:
There shall come forth a beautiful rod, the stem of Jesse, the word of God,
The spirit of God will rest upon him and the light of the gospel will never grow dim.
After the Holy One reappears, he'll bring us a thousand peaceful years;
And then there will be no more pain and no tears, no more darkness, no sin, no sorrow nor fears.
CHORUS:
They shall not hurt or make afraid in all my Holy mountain,
In all my holy mountain,
In all my holy mountain.
Verse 2:
There in the meadow in roses and heather the lamb and the lion will lie down together,
While under the sun of that beautiful day on the hole of the asp the young child will play;
Then will the wolf lie down next to the lamb; the cow and the bear together will feed;
And there will be no more pain, and no tears, no more darkness, no sin, no sorrow nor fears;
Verse 3:
Earth shall be full of the knowledge of God, as waters that cover the dazzling sea,
and He'll smite the earth with His wonderful rod and the sinful and wicked will cease to be.
All the earth's secrets shall then be revealed, those truths that were lost and stories long sealed.
The lamb will lie down with the lion and then will the child place his hand on the cockatrice den.
