This song was written for the 2015 LDS YM/YW theme. Many of the words were taken from the General YM/YW Presidency's introduction to the theme. It is full of energy and excitement for doing the Lord's work! The top part (A) sings a range from a high "D" to a low "A". The lower part (B) sings a middle "C" to a low "B flat". The melody trades off between the two parts. The chorus exclaims, "I will serve the Lord with all my heart, might, mind and strength. I will serve the Lord, whatever courage that it takes.With the Gospel light inside me and a testimony strong, I will serve the Lord my whole life long." This is a fun song to sing that the youth are sure to enjoy.
