Song background:

I am learning to garden, and the miracle of earth amazes me. I detect important truths illustrated in Christ's creations, and I articulated some of them in this song. Much of it formulated in a summer morning when my kids and I tended to some kale and radishes in our garden box. They curiously delighted in our produce, and I felt grateful that earth would swell with such life. I love discovering ways in which functions of the earth symbolize and sustain my intended development as a disciple of Christ and joint-heir with Him.--HB
