More about Dave Bates:
I started singing when I was 8 in my ward choir and have never stopped. I've written a lot of lyrics, but most of my compositions are Halloween songs for 4 part men. They are all in my popular Halloween show Bates Haunt, but I think there will be more religious music in my future. You can only write so many Halloween songs ;-) and there are more important things to write about.

Couldn't find a 4 part men arrangement for Mother's Day a few years back so I wrote this one for a double quartet to sing in church. Plese let me know if you have suggestions, or if you end up performing this song. I'd love to get a recording. The oohs at the begining are of course optional.
