From Adele Connell: This is a truly inspired song which I loved to listen to. It brought tears to my eyes. BUT, I had to substitute the word, "mother" for "father" and that was the case of my childhood and young adult life. I absolutely think this is a gorgeous piece of music and lyrics. I also wanted to hear one more line at the end of the song which would have been "Yes, 'he/she' knew." This would have been an ending on a higher pitch and a more complete finale to the song but this is just my own taste. I am honored to have listened to this beautiful, inspirational, lovely piece and I thank you.
