Lyrics: On Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem with hosannas and palms laid at his feet. (Matthew 21:6-11)
On Monday, he cleansed his Father's temple and then healed those who truly believed. (Matthew 21:12-16)
On Tuesday, he taught many parables, and he pled for the people to hear. (Matthew 21-23)
Then on Wednesday, he foretold his millennial reign; he could feel his time drawing near. (Matthew 24-25)

The Passover feast was on Thursday, the last night he'd spend with his friends. (Matthew 26:1-35)
Then out in Gethsemane's garden, he bore all their sins while they slept. (Matthew 26:36-46)
Friday: He was taken and tried without mercy, then on Friday he followed his cross
To the place where he'd die for all of mankind. The earth quaked and mourned its great loss! (Matthew 27: 1-54)

His body was placed in a sepulchre, wrapped in linens and left there alone. (Matthew 27:57-66)
On Saturday all his friends wept for him, not believing the truth they'd been told: (Mark 16:10-11)
That on Sunday, the third day, he'd live again, breaking death and bringing new life.
And that day Mary came, he called her by name, and she worshipped the Living Christ! (John 20:1-18)
