Comments for this piece:
From A. M. : My choir and the congregation loved it! The men's part was a little more challenging than I anticipated, and I had to tweak the word placement for them men at m. 32 (and every other similar place) to "Christ-- is--- born... mostly because of timing and wordiness. It clarified it greatly. BUT, once learned, we all had a fun time!
4.0 stars.

This is a choir piece for Christmas that truly feels like rejoicing! It was written in 1988 after the birth of my 5th child, who has several serious health issues. it was a worrisome and frightening time, but when I thought of Christmas and the Christ Child who redeemed the world, I wrote this piece. That was many years ago, but it's one of my favorites and has been sung by multiple choirs many times. I hope many others can enjoy this uplifting Christmas piece. PS my daughter grew up, and was able to be healthy enough to serve a mission then teach in Japan, two of her life dreams!
