Song background:

I wrote this song a couple of months ago as a Primary anthem to be performed at our Stake Christmas Concert but it could be performed as a solo or duet for any age. (Our ward choir also performed it on Christmas Day along with the primary) The children really connected with the melody (especially the chorus) and loved singing it. I also added an optional flute part. The inspiration was the simple and pure perspective of a child. As adults, we tend to complicate most things but children simply believe and testify. I love this simple testimony that Christ was born and that "He came here just for me".
