To me, grace is the most beautiful part of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not perfect and sometimes I get frustrated with myself and my repeated sins that I wish I could overcome. I mess up a lot. It's easy to want to give up when you realize you'll never be as good as you wish you could be.

But then there's grace. The unmerited divine assistance given to us by God. Grace is all we need. Grace is like a beautiful lullaby that rocks me soundly to sleep because I know that God has already saved me. And because I have been saved by grace, I have been changed by grace. Grace motivates me to try more and more to live like my Savior would.

In 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 Paul tells us what the Lord told him; "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."

I will never be strong enough, smart enough or good enough on my own, but my weaknesses bring me to Jesus and Jesus gives me His grace which then makes me strong enough, smart enough, and good enough. Without Him I am nothing.
