In this exuberant Christmas song, we sing of Christ's birth . "This is our Christ and we have waited for Him. The heavens rejoice and angels sing Gloria in Excelsis Deo!" The parts are not difficult and the music changes from highly energetic to reverent in order too fit the mood of the lyrics. A high soprano part at the end is optional, but what soprano wouldn't want to try it?? A fun and original piece that your choir will love.
