Da clases de piano y actualmente sirve como pianista y directora en su iglesia. Se dedica a traducir y adaptar arreglos de música sacra para que sean accesibles a comunidades de habla hispana. Victoria Yates began studying piano at age 8 and has cultivated a deep love for sacred music ever since. She teaches piano and currently serves as a pianist and music director in her church. Este arreglo en español está basado en “Faith in Every Footstep” de AnnMarie Murdock. Lo preparé para una conferencia de estaca y se interpretó comenzando como un dueto, invitando a la congregación a unirse en el último verso.
Para la estrofa final, se utilizó la música del nuevo himnario, la cual difiere del arreglo original. Escuchar a toda la congregación unirse en canto hizo de este momento algo especialmente poderoso y lleno de espíritu.
