Lyrics: DANIEL IN THE LION'S DEN
FIRST VERSE:
Daniel was a faithful man, and favored by the King;
Those around him looked for flaws, but couldn't find a thing;
So they made a crafty plan to trap him as he prayed;
Darius was Daniel's friend, but they had been betrayed.
Daniel was cast deep inside the lion’s den;
Darius did fast, praying for his faithful friend.

Darius could not be soothed and didn't sleep that night;

Daniel, servant of the Lord,
Daniel, servant of the Lord;
