I live in Idaho, USA with my husband and five children ages 10, 8, 7, 6, and 2 (3 adopted and 2 biological). I play the piano frequently as an accompanist. I started to arrange and write music after being unable to find the sheet music for certain songs that I had heard, loved, and really wanted to play. I also arrange folk songs, transcribe songs from movies , and write originals (all available for free on my blog). I enjoy being with my family, landscaping, reading, art, hiking, and anything that takes me outdoors.

for this piece (opens in a new window).My parents played a lot of Christmas music from the 50's and 60's when I was growing up and this song from Perry Como was always special to me. A lovely song of Christs birth. Perry Como discovered this song in Italy at the Vatican. He aired a Christmas show there in 1964. From Wikipedia "The (Sistine Chapel Choir) performed a Christmas hymn in Latin written by their director, Domenico Bartolucci, called "Christ Is Born", as part of their presentation. Como asked his associate, Ray Charles, to write English lyrics for the song, using it many times on both television shows and his Christmas albums.[174][176] The Carpenters also recorded the song on their first Christmas album, Christmas Portrait.[174"
