More about Kim Krenzer:
I'm an amateur composer, life coach, an dmother of two teens, arranging and composing music since age 16. I sing Alto, and play the flute, guitar, and piano. I have served as a church choir director and band/orchestra director for local church theatrical productions over the years. I love arranging pieces for the musical groups I lead.
Song background:

I arranged this song for my father's funeral.  He passed away at the age of 82 in March of 2017 after 16 months on hospice.  He had a chance to hear this song and approve it to be sung at his funeral by all the daughters, daughters-in-law, and granddaughters, before he died.  He loved missionary work and gave out so many pass-along cards when serving as a Senior Missionary in Vancouver that church headquarters called the mission to find out why they were ordering so many pass-along cards.  He served 4 missions for the Church of Jesus Christ, the Northern States Mission for 2 1/2 years from approx. 1955-1957, and then 3 missions as a senior/couple missionary with my step-mom to the Texas Fort Worth mission, Canada Vancouver mission, and the SLC Family History Library. With that much excitement and experience sharing the gospel, it only seemed fitting we sing "Called to Serve" at his funeral. :D
