We wanted to sing this in church, but needed it in a different key.

This is the arrangement from the 1969 Primary children's songbook: Sing With Me. The original arrangement tends to get more and more grandiose in the accompaniment in verse 2 and 3. This version has been transposed down to the key of C to put it in a more singable range and playable key.
