Ideal for building dedications and other worship services. This anthem is scored for SATB with piano accompaniment. Lyrics: May this house be a place of prayer that our hearts may turn to worship thee?
As we enter in reverence here may our spirits feel of thy majesty?

May this house be a place of peace where our spirits rest from earthly care;
And our turmoils within us cease as our testimonies of thee we share?

May this house be a place of joy as we gather to be sanctified?
May thy spirit be present here that our hearts and minds may with thee abide?

May thy goodness and mercies inspire our hearts to seek our highest heavenly home.
May this house be a place of prayer?
May this house be a place of peace?
May this house be a place of joy that we be sanctified and thou be glorified?
Glory to the Lord (repeated several times.)
Sing hosannah!
