The Millennial Morn

Lyrics by John Jaques (1824-1900). These lyrics were published in the Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star (vol. 11, No. 20 (1849), 320). John had contributed a number of poems and articles to the Millennial Star, mostly under the pseudonym Harvey Locksley Birch. Some of these verses are used in the current church hymnbook in "Softly Beams the Sacred Dawning".
